This year has brought about unimaginable changes in how we work, learn and live. So much of our daily existence -- whether as individuals or as members of a family, student, professional or social cohort -- is happening inside our homes. For too many of us, a stable home is not a certainty. For those fortunate to have a safe home during this health and economic crisis, we've been made even more aware of how important our dwellings are to us.
And as our appreciation of our homes increases, so do our requirements. Finding ways to create separate spaces to concentrate on learning, work, socializing or solitude, while harmoniously living together is hard.
Home can bring serenity and well-being to our soul or spirit. As we navigate the myriad circumstances making our lives more difficult, let’s remember the many ways adversity stretches our imagination, resolve and resourcefulness. And during this time of extended home-stays, let us also remember to be thankful for all the joy our homes offer us. ~Liz~
